Caterpillar has introduced the C4.4 engine which is suited for equipment manufacturers who are looking to downsize. 

• Features engine mounted aftertreatment, allowing manufacturers to remove significant cost and complexity from their installation
• 4-cylinder, 4.4-L engine
• Available in multiple power ratings from 110-200 hp (82 -150 kW)
• Peak torque reaching 825 Nm (609 lbs.-ft.) 
• Offers 15% increase in power, 10% more torque and 5-10% reduction in fuel consumption
• Includes aftertreatment upgrades to ensure transparent regeneration
• Meets Stage V emissions requirements
